These days I'm always amazed when I think of the ways you brighten my days

with long walks on the Beach and those well-trodden pathways.

Now there's a joint future at stake,

with rocky turns and decisions to make

by whichever we  choose, it's  always the right way.

and on that rock by the Sea, where we sat holding hands

drinking in the views and watching the spray as the waves hit the sands

and I just knew what you were thinking

and I'm always amazed

Sometimes a flash just goes off in your mind

like someone's switched on a light when you thought you were blind

and all those feelings I thought had been dulled by my past

come flooding back, and now I suddenly find
